Instructions for Cleaning and Care of PC Ultima™

1. Semi-annual Cleaning
Semi-annual cleaning of your deck is recommended. Mild stains may be removed with general household cleaners or commonly available deck washes containing hypochlorite.

2. Household Cleaners/Degreasers
PC Ultima is chemical resistant to most household chemicals. The longer you allow a stain to sit the harder it will be to remove. For example, if you are outside barbequing and spill grease on our decking, just use a general household cleaner or degreaser to remove the grease and allow the spot to dry. However, if you drop a burning charcoal and have a burn spot on your decking, use a stainless steel brush and remove the burnt area. Allow the area to naturalize, which could take up to four weeks. If you use a non-stainless steal brush, it could leave rust marks after the brushed area weathers.

3. Flush the Surface
After cleaning, flush the surface using a garden hose to remove any excess cleaning agents. If a power washer is used, limit pressure to 1000 psi and use a fan-tip nozzle.
